Thursday, October 22, Pueblo citizens at high risk for the N1H1 flu virus, including pregnant women, caregivers, healthcare workers, and children and adults with health problems, gathered at the Colorado State Fair Events Center to begin receiving flu vaccinations. The clinic operated from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with City and County Health Department staff receiving assistance from the Univeristy of Colorado – Pueblo nursing students.
MediMar Ministries, owned by Tom Sexton, has prepared a legal marijuana dispensary located at 112 Colorado Street in the building formeraly known as “The Ambrosia Buildnig”. The City has delayed the opening of the dispensary and is proposing an ordinance which will delay the opening 90 days.
