But did you also know that there is place that you can go kayaking wright in the middle of the historic Downtown District of Pueblo,Colorado
The place that I am referring to is Pueblo’s Whitewater park . While at the park you can go kayaking on the course that has eight hair raising drops and is approximately 1/2 mile long. There are also murals that are painted on each of the drops along the way through the park that depicts the excitement of each pool and drop that you take. The painting, Harpo, Marley and The Grim Reaper just to name a few.
It is recommended if you are going to ride the rapids of Pueblo’s Whitewater park that you follow the rules of the park buy using using life jackets that are required by state law. Stay on established trails and rocks . While wear helmets and cold water clothing for protection.
Because of the location of Whitewater park running wright through the city of Pueblo. When you are finished with a long fun day of kayaking you can visit the many shops and restaurants that are located near the park for that well deserved meal or souvenir.
