Camp, Fish and Boat at Lake Pueblo State Park
Lake Pueblo State Park is just west of the city of Pueblo at 640 Lake Pueblo Reservior Road, access is easy from Route 96 or Juniper Road. This is a great location for a family weekend staycation any time of year.
Open year round, there are 400 campsites in the park which covers 9,600 acres. Lake Pueblo itself covers. 7.3 square miles.
Boating and fishing are popular all year long. Summer activities add swimming, windsurfing, and water skiing to the fun.
Facilities are modern and convenient for campers, whether tent camping or RV camping. There is a boat ramp available for easy boat launching, modern showers and restrooms, picnic areas, and RV dumping facilities.
While fishing Lake Pueblo, you might be lucky and catch some rainbow trout. There are also catfish, brown trout, pike, several types of bass, perch, bluegill and other fish which are great when cooked over your campfire.
This is a fun get-away when you are on a budget. The access fee is just $5 and campsites are affordable. So, take a weekend or a week away from town and have some rustic fun at Lake Pueblo State Park.
